Connect Google Business

Connect your Google Business Profile to monitor and respond to Google Reviews with AI assistance.

Before you start

You need an existing Google Business Profile. Google's API allows managing existing listings but cannot create new ones programmatically. If you don't have a profile yet, see "Setting Up Your Profile" below.

Setting Up Your Google Business Profile

If you don't have a Google Business Profile yet, follow these steps:

Step 1: Create or Claim Your Profile

Visit Google Business Profile Manager to create a new listing or claim an existing one.

Step 2: Verify Your Business

Google requires verification to prove you own or manage the business. Options include:

  • Postcard: Google mails a postcard with a verification code (5-14 days)
  • Phone/SMS: Receive a code via call or text (instant, if available)
  • Email: Verification email to your business domain (instant, if available)
  • Video: Record a video walkthrough of your business

Step 3: Complete Your Profile

Add essential information to help customers find you:

  • Business hours and contact info
  • Photos of your business, products, or services
  • Business description and categories
  • Service area (if applicable)

Connecting to Voxenly

Navigate to Your Review Agent

In your Voxenly dashboard, go to Agents → Review Agent. If you haven't created one yet, click "Create Agent" and select "Review Manager".

Go to Settings Tab

Click the Settings tab in your Review Agent. Under "Platforms", you'll see the Google Business connection option.

Click Connect

Click the "Connect" button next to Google Business. You'll be redirected to Google to sign in.

Authorize Access

Sign in with the Google account that manages your Business Profile. Grant Voxenly permission to:

  • View your business information
  • Read your business reviews
  • Respond to reviews on your behalf

Select Your Location

If you have multiple business locations, Voxenly will connect to the first one. Support for multiple locations is coming soon!

Common Issues

"No business found" after connecting

Make sure you're signing in with the Google account that owns the Business Profile, not just has access. The profile must also be verified.

"Access denied" or permission error

Try disconnecting and reconnecting. Make sure to check all the permission boxes when Google asks for authorization.

Can I connect multiple locations?

Currently, Voxenly connects to one location per Review Agent. For multiple locations, create separate Review Agents for each.
